The artifact cards finally give every player something to do even after they're eliminated, and handing one to each of the 30 people in our group turned the game into a chaotic mess of secret powers. Took a couple rounds to remember when to reveal them, but that learning curve is half the fun.
The artifact cards add such a great layer of secrecy—everyone’s trying to read each other’s poker faces while juggling two hidden roles. Our group of 16 got way more chaotic and fun, and the card quality feels solid for all the shuffling we did.
Took this to a game night with 14 people and the artifact cards flipped the whole strategy on its head—even the quietest players suddenly had a reason to scheme. The 30-player cap means I'll never outgrow it, and the secret drafting moment adds just the right tension between roles.
