Plan, build, and develop your small borough into a major metropolis.  Use hex-shaped building tiles to add residential, commercial, civic, and industrial areas, as well as special points of interest that provide benefits and take advantage of the resources of nearby boroughs.

Suburbia is a tile-laying game in which each player tries to build an economic engine and infrastructure that will be self-sufficient, and eventually become both profitable and encourage population growth.  As your income increases, you'll have more cash to purchase better buildings, such as an international airport or a high rise office building.  As your reputation increases, the population will grow as well.

The player with the largest population wins!

The strategy of balancing residential and commercial zones with the hex tiles really makes each game feel like a fresh urban planning puzzle. Setup and tear-down are quick enough that we’ve already gotten three full plays in this week.

The hex tiles fit together so satisfyingly, and watching my tiny borough sprawl into something resembling a city over a few rounds is genuinely addictive. My only warning is to clear a whole afternoon, because "one more turn" crept up on me every single time.

The hex-shaped tiles fit together so satisfyingly that I kept planning layouts even between turns, and the way each borough grows into a metropolis feels genuinely rewarding.
