Three rounds in and I'm still finding new ways to block opponents from grabbing the white stone tiles they desperately need. The water-surround mechanic forces you to plan your palace layout several turns ahead, which keeps everyone tense even when you're just placing a wall.

The white stone and water features make it feel like you're actually building something regal, not just laying tiles. Setup was quick and the rules clicked after one round, even for my group that usually struggles with new games.

I’ve played it three times already this week with different groups, and the way you draft competing architects keeps every session tense and clever. The white stone and water features really pop on the table, and even the rulebook is laid out clearly enough that we started in under ten minutes.
